It was even more clear when I flew it over on the way to Rome on Monday. This was not on the original itinerary but was a little touristy town where I attempted some artistic photography. Ston is renowned for its salt pans creating lots of salt in the first procedures and we were given a talk afterward we climbed part of the “Great wall of Europe”. On Sunday we sailed across the largest seas of our journey back to Split, where we’d to give the yacht we chartered back. Again we had a town tour, and so I learnt although I ‘d drifted by myself a week before. Likely the worst of the long history in the town was in the siege from October 1991 to May 1992. Happily most has been restored. We wanted a drink in town after. The coach took us to a liqueur and wine tasting. Most were not impressed with the wines and I did not try the wide range of really sweet liqueurs, not to my taste. For which the place can be renowned, afterward it was on to an oyster tasting. They were not quite bad although I am told they were not up to Bluff oyster standards but.It was time for a closing dinner and sleep on board before travelling to the airport on Monday for the day flight. 15 went to the airport and 7 were on the Rome flight.: Can you help me with Italy?
